Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide in-home and community ABA services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This part-time, in-person role supports client progress under supervision and offers flexible afternoon hours in Derry, NH.

You will collect data, implement plans, and collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team. We value compassion, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development; travel and license

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
