Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide in-home and community ABA services for individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.

You will implement intervention plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA and care teams. This full- and part-time role offers meaningful work, professional development, and travel for in-home services within New Hampshire.

Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
