Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, by delivering in-home and community-based ABA services.

You will work under supervision of a BCBA and help implement behavior plans. Responsibilities include data collection, implementing interventions, collaborating with the care team, and maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
High school diploma or equivalent.
HIPAA confidentiality awareness.
Ability to work in a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
Collect data on client behavior during sessions
Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage behaviors
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
