Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, with in-home and community ABA services. This in-home role focuses on implementing ABA strategies and collecting data to track progress.

As a Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work under the supervision of a BCBA, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help clients acquire new skills while promoting independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
