Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide in-home and community-based ABA services for individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism. The role involves data collection, execution of behavior plans, and collaboration with a BCBA and care team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, Hipaa awareness, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
