Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team, providing in-home and community ABA services to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism. You will implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and help collect data during sessions.

This full-/part-time role offers $22.00–$28.00 per hour, 20–40 hours per week, and requires in-person work with Monday to Friday schedules and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
