Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide in-home and community-based ABA services to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, under the supervision of a BCBA.

This role offers meaningful impact, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth through paid training and ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

  • Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality of medical records.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
