Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to support individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, through in-home and community ABA services. The role focuses on implementing plans, data collection, and collaboration with BCBAs and the care team.

The ideal candidate will have ABA knowledge, HIPAA awareness, strong communication, and a willingness to travel as required. In-person work with a compassionate, collaborative team is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for effective care coordination.
