Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support individuals with autism in home and community ABA services. The role focuses on implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance, collecting data, and applying ABA techniques to teach skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

The position offers flexible hours and opportunities for growth. Qualified candidates will have at least a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a commitment to HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably autism.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality of medical records is necessary.

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
Assist in development and implementation of care plans.
Use ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for effective care coordination.
