Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking a 1:1 ABA Paraprofessional to work with a child in Maricopa, AZ, providing in-home, play-based ABA therapy under supervision. You will help build skills in daily living, communication, independence, and confidence.

Role offers flexible part-time afternoon/evening hours and requires passing a background check. Training and supervision by a BCBA are provided to support consistent progress across sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED, therapy, caregiving, or similar) is required or preferred.
• ABA experience is a plus and helpful for role.
• Availability in afternoon/evening hours is required (weekdays; weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation to client homes is required.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children in their homes.
• Follow treatment plans created by a BCBA/supervisor.
• Track progress using a data system on a phone or tablet.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other techs to ensure consistency.
• Communicate session outcomes and celebrate progress with families.
