Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to provide in-home, one-on-one ABA support for children on the autism spectrum. Work with a consistent client base in Mesa, AZ, afternoons and evenings, with paid training and supervision from a BCBA.

Build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA. You will follow step-by-step treatment plans, track progress with a mobile data system, and collaborate with your BCBA to maintain consistency.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
• ABA experience a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA)
• Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet (train you on this).
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together!
