Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy in Arizona is seeking 1:1 ABA paraprofessionals to support children with autism in their homes. The role offers part-time afternoon/evening hours in Mesa, AZ, with a focus on building daily living and communication skills through play-based ABA under a licensed BCBA.

Staff receive training and support, with flexible scheduling and in-home opportunities. Compensation ranges from $21 to $26 per hour, dependent on experience and client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in SPEDPara / 1:1 Aide settings and caregiving.
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow treatment plans prepared by the supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress with a simple data system on your device.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to maintain consistency.
• Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate successes.
