Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps is seeking an entry-level, paid Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students across elementary, middle and high school. You will help students earn academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors with a 2–4 week training at the start of the year.

You will work with teachers on in-class support, 1:1 and small-group coaching, and help create engaging, supportive learning environments across literacy and math activities.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching 1:1 and in small groups.
• Ability to plan literacy and math activities by student level.
• Collaborate with teachers to support student progress.

Responsibilities

• Support academic coaching and interpersonal development for students.
• Work with identified students 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist with classroom instruction and data recording.
