City Year AmeriCorps member position focusing on coaching and mentoring students across elementary, middle, and high school. You will support academic growth, improve attendance, and foster positive behaviors, working with teachers on classroom instruction and student progress.

Entry-level, paid, full-time role with 2–4 weeks of training at the start of the year, including comprehensive benefits and a living stipend provided by City Year AmeriCorps.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring students 1:1 and in small groups
• Support literacy and math activities and track progress
• Develop behavior management strategies
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress in City Year data system
• Create a safe, engaging classroom space with teachers
