Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehabilitation in speech therapy for patients upon physician referral, in line with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

The position requires an MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, an active state license, CPR certification, and prior experience is preferred though new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or eligible for CFY; must maintain credentialing.
• Current active license in state; maintain good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification required by hire.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaises with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrates confidentiality and adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Uses therapy software appropriately and maintains patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
