Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab in speech therapy for patients upon physician referral, in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Candidates should hold an accredited MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, be ASHA CCCs eligible or CFY eligible, and maintain an active state license. Experience is preferred; CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care for CFYs (if SLP CCC).
• Follow treatment plans for patients under supervision.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain safety, patient rights, and confidentiality.
• Follow company policies and comply with training requirements.

Skills

MS/MA in SLP

ASHA CCCS/CFY eligibility

State license in good standing

1 year experience preferred
