Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians. The role emphasizes maintaining state licensure, ASHA credentials, and participation in community health initiatives.

New grads are welcome; CPR may be required. SLPs will work within post-acute care guidelines, using therapy software and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patient communication and swallowing goals.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility and credentialing.
• Current valid state license and active status.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care by CFYs (SLP CCCs only).
• Follow CFY treatment plans under supervision (SLP CFY only).
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Collaborate on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
