Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Florida is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients per physician referral. The role requires MS/MA in speech pathology and active Florida licensure.

The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, supervise CFYs if CCCs, maintain documentation, and comply with ASHA credentials and state regulations.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in speech therapy from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or eligible for CFY to earn CCCs.
• Active Florida license in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify patient goals in speech therapy.
• Oversee care for CFYs if CCCs; follow treatment plans under supervision.
• Chart accurately and timely; use therapy software properly.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient relations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety guidelines.
