Job summary

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility; maintain credentialing.
• Current licensed in the applicable state; active license throughout employment.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; kept current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Understand and follow applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by CFYs (SLP CFY role) or follow treatment plans under supervision.
• Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.
• Communicate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
