Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to empower diverse learners and collaborate with ARD teams. You will develop IEPs, deliver differentiated instruction, and monitor progress to ensure every student achieves their goals.

You will work with families, general and related service staff to support student growth, implement BIPs, and address academic, social, and emotional needs in inclusive settings. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Texas EC-12 Special Education certification (TEA) required.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD processes; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor progress with data to ensure IEP goals are met.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families; participate in ARD meetings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
• Address academic, social, and emotional needs with appropriate accommodations and modifications.
