Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse needs in Texas. You will collaborate with ARD committees to develop and implement IEPs, deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings, and monitor progress to ensure goals are met.

You’ll work with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families, participating in ARD meetings.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) required.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD processes; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs in collaboration with the ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor progress with data to ensure IEP goals are met.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related services, and families; participate in ARD meetings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
• Support students' academic, social, and emotional growth with accommodations and modifications.
