Job summary

Candor is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to empower diverse learners in Texas. You will develop IEPs through ARD meetings, deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings, and monitor progress to ensure goals are met. Collaboration with teachers, families and service providers is essential.

Your role includes implementing BIPs and addressing students’ academic, social, and emotional needs with individualized supports. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas EC-12 Special Education certification required.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with ARD team.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource rooms.
• Monitor and analyze data to measure progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
• Address academic, social, and emotional needs with individualized supports.

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
