Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Illinois seeks a contract speech-language pathologist to support students during a maternity leave. This full-time assignment runs September 4, 2026 through December 11, 2026, at 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving elementary and middle school students in North Chicago.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois SLP license is required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
• Experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with diverse needs.
• Strong collaboration with IEP teams and organizational skills.
• Onsite-only role; remote services not available.

Responsibilities

• Direct assessment and therapy for elementary and middle school students.
• Develop and implement IEPs with educators and families.
• Document progress and maintain records per state requirements.
• Communicate with teachers, staff, and parents about progress.
• Foster inclusive environment to support communication goals.
