Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based contract in the Winnetka, IL area. The assignment runs for a maternity leave from September 4, 2026, through December 11, 2026, with a Monday–Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours weekly and onsite responsibilities in elementary and middle schools.

You will assess and treat speech and language disorders, design IEP-based interventions, collaborate with educators and families, and maintain district documentation

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active Illinois SLP license required.
  • CCC-SLP credential.
  • Experience in school settings with elementary or middle school students.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Onsite commitment for full duration of assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based caseload.
  • Design and implement IEPs and targeted interventions.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support each child's growth.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements.

Job description

This full-time opportunity covers a maternity leave from September 4, 2026, to December 11, 2026, located near Winnetka, IL, in the North Chicago area. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current, active Illinois SLP license (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school settings with elementary or middle school students
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills
  • Ability to commit onsite for the full duration of the assignment
