Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Illinois.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome.
• Experience in an elementary school setting preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and caseload management.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students.
• Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress.
• Document student performance and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students within the school environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
