Fairview Health Services is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support clinics in the Minneapolis area, including Edina, Burnsville, Maplewood, and Brooklyn Park. The role focuses on facilitating access to services, registration, and scheduling to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The position is full-time (80 hours every two weeks) with clinic hours from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, based primarily at two locations but may support other Maternal Fetal Medicine sites as needed.

Qualificações

• Vocational/Technical training required.
• Associates Degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in scheduling or related work.

Responsabilidades

• Acquires patient consent for medical records and evaluations from managed care plans.
• Communicates with patient, staff and referring physician regarding authorization decisions.
• Schedules tests, procedures, follow-ups and other services per Doctor's orders.
• Produces efficient and accurate schedules and related reports.
• Records and updates schedule changes accurately.
• Monitors discharge status and coordinates communication with referring physician.
• Answers multiple phone lines and assists callers promptly.
• Participates in department decision-making and coordinates patient schedules across areas.
