Goodwill Central Texas seeks a Retail General Manager to lead operations at a busy store. This boots-on-the-ground role oversees sales floor and production teams, drives store performance, and champions a customer-first culture.

You will own store P&L, manage payroll and scheduling, and develop a high-performing team while upholding safety and loss-prevention standards in a mission-driven environment that changes lives daily.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail management experience.
• Experience with profit & loss statements and team development.
• Able to lift 35–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a high-performing retail store, from opening to closing.
• Manage sales floor and back-of-house production teams for smooth flow of merchandise.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and merchandising to maximize revenue and store presentation.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a dynamic staff including Assistant Managers and Supervisors.
• Cultivate a customer-first culture with top-tier service for shoppers and donors.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, state regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
• Take ownership of store P&L and make data-driven decisions to meet goals.
• Handle payroll, attendance, and scheduling using internal systems.
• Resolve team or customer concerns and communicate across departments.
