Job summary

Goodwill Central Texas is seeking a Retail General Manager to lead the operations of a busy Round Rock store. You will oversee sales floor, production, inventory, staff, and customer service, driving revenue and a positive donor and shopper experience.

This boots-on-the-ground leadership role requires 3–5 years of retail management, strong P&L experience, and the ability to coach a diverse team. Weekend, evening, and holiday scheduling are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail management experience.
• Comfortable managing both sales operations and merchandise production.
• Experienced with profit & loss statements, team development, and performance coaching.
• Able to lift 35–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the store from opening to closing.
• Manage sales floor and back-of-house production teams for smooth flow of merchandise.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and merchandising to maximize revenue.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a dynamic team of staff.
• Cultivate a customer-first culture with top-tier service for shoppers and donors.
• Ensure safety protocols, state regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
