Job summary

MedCadre in Oklahoma seeks a skilled Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, creating individualized plans to improve mobility and independence. You will lead therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and collaborate with a broad care team to support rehab goals.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation, orthopedic, neurological, and mobility principles.
• Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and injury prevention.
• Recommend and train patients on appropriate assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, patient safety, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.
