Job summary

Career Team seeks a Project Director to oversee staff, administration, programs, and the strategic plan, ensuring WIOA Title I compliance and performance. The role reports to the Corporate Management Team and is expected to work on-site within the local area.

The position requires 5+ years in operations or project management with workforce/WIOA experience, strong fiscal skills, and the ability to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, or community development.
• 5+ years in operations or project management with 3+ years in workforce/WIOA.
• 5+ years in business, marketing, public relations, education, and/or workforce development services.
• Strong fiscal management of budgets and funds.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and program administration and ensure contract compliance.
• Lead the development and execution of program initiatives and policies.
• Coordinate planning with Workforce Board partners and ensure performance objectives.
• Monitor expenditures and drive continuous improvement with a focus on customer satisfaction.
