Amedisys, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver skilled PT services in patients' homes, promoting mobility, restoring function, and enhancing safety and independence. You will work with patients, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and improve quality of life at home.

This full-time position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and a salary range based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state you are assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by CAPTE.
• 1+ years related physical therapy experience for home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders and mentoring/residency participation is required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in patients' homes to promote mobility, restore function, and improve safety.
• Perform reexaminations at minimum every 30 days; modify interventions as needed and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support recovery and independence.
