Job summary

Community Partners in Action, Inc. seeks a Per Diem Human Services Worker for Hartford Transitional Housing. The role requires weekend and holiday shifts, with a minimum 24 hours per month, at $20 per hour. A CT driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed to support participant needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in human services with justice-involved clients is preferred.
• Must have valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor resident activities per program policies.
• Advocate for participants and encourage participation and accountability.
• Mediate resident conflicts in a solutions-focused manner.
• Maintain professional boundaries with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Follow agency policies and ensure safety and incident reporting.
