Job summary

Community Partners in Action, Inc. seeks a Per Diem Human Services Worker for the Waterbury Transitional Housing program. The role requires weekend and holiday work with a minimum 24 hours per month, in Waterbury, CT, at approximately $20 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred) and prior human services experience with justice-involved clients and related challenges. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in human services with justice-involved clients and related issues preferred.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor resident activities in a safe, structured setting.
• Advocate for participants and encourage program participation and accountability.
• Maintain professional boundaries and a professional image at all times.
• Follow agency policies, document incidents, and manage logbooks.
• Assist with meeting resident needs and support crisis management as needed.
