Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team on a Full-Time Flex schedule (36 hrs/week) with night shifts and day shift rotations at Christiana Hospital. You will provide expert care for critically ill patients, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families in high-stress moments.

BSN is required, with ADN considered if the BSN commitment is made within 3 years; minimum 1 year acute care

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
