ChristianaCare’s MICU team is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital. This Full-Time Flex role offers a 36-hour week with night shifts and day rotation.

You’ll provide expert care to critically ill patients, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families. BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years, and 1 year acute care experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
