Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time flex schedule (36 hrs/week) with night shifts and day shift rotations at Christiana Hospital. You will deliver high-acuity care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families in critical moments.

Requirements include a BSN (ADN considered with a BSN commitment within 3 years), 1 year of acute care experience, and BLS (ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
