Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit seeks a Registered Nurse to join the MICU team at Christiana Hospital. This full-time flex role covers 36 hours per week with night shifts and day rotation, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

BSN is required, with ADN considered if committed to obtaining BSN within 3 years; minimum 1 year acute care experience is expected, and BLS is required (ACLS preferred and can be obtained within 6 months of hire).

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years)
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
