Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the MICU team. This full-time flex role (36 hrs/week) includes night shifts with day rotation at Christiana Hospital.

You will provide expert critical care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families in high-stakes situations. Requirements include a BSN or ADN with a BSN commitment within 3 years, at least 1 year of acute care experience, and BLS (ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN may be considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
