Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting a floor plan, options, and coordinating the construction process to create a world-class home buying experience. The role emphasizes relationship-driven sales, demonstrating features, and turning inquiries into appointments.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months in B2C sales, strong communication, and the ability to work Saturdays. A manufactured home sales license and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven B2C sales experience.
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class home-buying experience by helping customers identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate construction.
• Set home center visits by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments and following up with customers via CRM.
• Demonstrate features and benefits of display homes to create added value and close sales.
• Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and company-sponsored events.
