Job summary

Assured Home Health, part of LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver PT services in home care settings. You will implement treatment plans, educate patients, and coordinate with supervising therapists to optimize patient outcomes.

Applicants must hold Washington state PT assistant credentials, a valid driver's license, and be available for weekend rotations. Benefits are included with compensation reflecting per visit productivity.

Qualifications

• Current licensed or certified to assist in physical therapy in Washington state.
• Ability to travel to patient homes and drive between visits.
• Strong patient education and exercise instruction abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care as defined by supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility training.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within the PT scope.
• Provide care in diverse home settings irrespective of age, race, or disability.
