Assured Home Health, a part of the LHC Group and Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home therapy and exercise instruction under the supervising PT. You will help improve patients' well-being and follow the established plan of care.

Responsibilities include patient instruction, progress observation, and coordination with the care team. Requires WA license, weekend availability, and driving access.

Formación

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of Washington.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Responsabilidades

• Follow state laws governing home care PT; perform only supervised procedures; suggest plan-of-care changes to supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment; coordinates care with health care team.
• Instructs patient, family, and other health care team members in therapy areas within the PT assistant scope.
• Function in various home settings, respecting diverse patient backgrounds.
