HomeCall, part of LHC Group and within the Optum family, delivers home health and hospice services that bring care to patients in their own homes. The Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant performs treatment and provides exercise instruction and patient education under the plan of care.

This role requires current licensure as a physical therapy assistant, a valid driver's license, weekend availability, and the ability to work across diverse home settings while coordinating with a supervising PT

Competenze

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation

Mansioni

• Following state laws and supervising PT plan of care; perform only authorized procedures.
• Assist patients with active and passive exercises, gait, ADLs, and mobility training
• Observe and report patient response and coordinate with healthcare team
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within scope
• Function in diverse home settings and with diverse patients
