Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education within home care settings. You will follow the established plan of care and collaborate with the supervising PT.

The role includes a per visit point pay system, hourly pay for non-visit activities, and participation in a comprehensive benefits package; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws and the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Instruct and assist patients with active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings and with all patient demographics.
