Job summary

Aberdeen Assured Home Health, part of LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support treatment plans and provide instruction to improve patient well‑being. You will follow a supervising PT and visit patients in their homes across the service area.

The role requires WA licensure, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in diverse home environments. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany field-based care.

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of Washington.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proven ability to function in any home situation regardless of client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state-specific laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care and work under the supervising PT.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the health‑care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers in therapy within PTA scope.
• Visit patients within the service area.
