Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree preferred in Counseling or Social Services; High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience in a social service environment, state or local government preferred.
• Case management experience encouraged to apply.
• Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Gather data for all relevant assistance programs face-to-face or via phone with clients.
• Verify information meets state policies and obtain release forms and medical records as needed.
• Verify income, assets, and other financial/legal documents.
• Review regulations and program requirements with clients.
• Utilize automated system to determine eligibility for state programs.
• Data entry into state database; respond to inquiries by phone or email.
