The role emphasizes feedback for coaching and process improvement within the DFR. The role requires knowledge of public assistance policy, ability to review data matches, and strong communication with applicants and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local public assistance rules and policies.
• Experience handling SNAP, TANF, Medicaid program rules is preferred.
• Ability to interview applicants and explain eligibility requirements clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review eligibility information and contract staff recommendations.
• Determine eligibility for SNAP, TANF, Medicaid per rules.
• Identify data discrepancies and correct case information.
• Approve contractor-calculated claims.
• Conduct full eligibility interviews with applicants.
