Texas Panhandle Centers in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Diversion Center Case Manager. The role delivers trauma-informed care, conducts life needs assessments, and provides skills training to adults 18+ across Amarillo and the surrounding service area.

The position requires QMHP credentialing, a bachelor's degree in a human services field, and a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call rotations. This is a full-time role aimed at growth and community impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field (required for QMHP credentialing).
  • Willing to work weekends with a flexible work schedule to accommodate the Diversion Center program.
  • Participate in a 24/7 year-long rotating on-call schedule and respond in-person to activations, including holidays and weekends.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Employees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ethical and professional communications using trauma-informed care language.
  • Conduct crisis responses and coordinate with individuals at risk of a crisis episode.
  • Conduct comprehensive life needs assessments considering the individual and stakeholders.
  • Provide skills training using evidence-based curriculum.
  • Maintain same-day/next-day documentation with 95%+ compliance.
  • Assist team during emergencies and crisis-related services.
  • Conduct community follow-ups, assess safety, and provide referrals as needed.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with LEOs, facilities, and staff.
  • Spend 50% of time with individuals in the Reset Diversion program and other crisis platforms.
  • Perform other essential functions and adhere to Conduct code.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field (required for QMHP credentialing)
