Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers seeks a Part-Time Juvenile Probation Case Manager ( QMHP required ) to deliver trauma-informed care, skills training, and recovery planning to youths under 18 in Amarillo within Potter County.

Responsibilities include managing an intensive caseload, coordinating with the Child and Adolescent team, engaging families, and ensuring services meet contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field; required for QMHP credentialing.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications using trauma-informed care language.
• Work an intensive caseload for identified juveniles with behavioral health issues and involvement with the juvenile justice system.
• Assess and plan for treatment with the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate behavioral health services are delivered; engage families.
• Teach and model skills addressing community living, coping, and problem-solving for families and youth.
• Organize and provide culturally competent care activities; collaborate among all participants involved in the care.
• Provide direct, community-based care (50%+ time) in home/community settings with youth and families.
• Train in evidence-based curriculum to improve daily functioning and community tenure.
• Meet contract requirements for the TCOOMMI Juvenile Program.
• Adhere to the Texas Panhandle Centers Business Code of Conduct.
