Texas Panhandle Centers seeks an Adult Behavioral Health Case Manager to assess adults 18+ with mental health needs and develop personalized recovery goals in Amarillo and surrounding areas. You will deliver direct client services, leverage trauma-informed language, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to support client independence.

Role requires a Bachelor's in a human services field with QMHP credentials, plus varying experience levels for I/II/III positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field required for QMHP credentialing.
• For Case Manager II, minimum one year of behavioral health case management experience.
• For Case Manager III, minimum two years of behavioral health case management experience.
• Graduate work in a related field may substitute for up to one year of experience.
• Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications using Trauma-Informed Care language.
• Serve as the Case Manager/Skills Trainer in Amarillo and surrounding areas.
• Conduct state approved assessments and set recovery goals for adults 18+, with mental health diagnoses.
• Teach using evidence-based practices to improve daily functioning with a person-centered approach.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources, rehab services, housing, and employment skills training.
• Organize culturally competent care activities and collaboration among involved participants.
• Provide services via phone and face-to-face in home and community settings.
