Texas Panhandle Centers in Amarillo, TX is seeking a full-time Diversion Center Technician to engage with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises. You will work across weekdays, weeknights, and weekends, providing trauma-informed, person-centered care and supporting clients in crisis.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain ethical communication, assist with transport and meals, and help maintain a safe environment while adhering to the agency's code

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to maintain composure in a crisis.
• Willing to work with Law Enforcement and community partners.
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• One semester of college (12 credit hours) or ABLE score.

Mansioni

• Engage Diversion Center clients using trauma-informed, person-centered care.
• Build rapid rapport with clients in crisis situations.
• Transport, prepare meals, and maintain a safe, clean environment for Diversion Center clients.
• Collaborate with Diversion Center staff to meet client needs.
• Adhere to the TPC Code of Conduct and report concerns.
